It has been one month since the highly anticipated grand opening of Tulsa's Gathering Place. Tuesday morning, Park Director Tony Moore stopped by 6 In The Morning to talk about the past month.

Gathering Place leaders are trying to break a world record that involves a classic dance and they'll need your help to do it.

The road was originally scheduled to re-open at 6 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2018, but Mayor G.T. Bynum posted on his Facebook page the road opened at 12:44 a.m.

Friday, there was a flurry of last-minute touches all around and inside the park to finish up before Gathering Place’s grand opening.

The wait is almost over for the gates to open at Gathering Place.
